When a star can't win, it's always the supporting cast's fault.

Lamest excuse in sports.

I'm surprised nobody's noticed the relevance of this guy's post.

Denver's a solid example. That team was hopeless with Iverson. They were a bunch of Charmin Ultra Softies, and everybody joked that we should call them Enver, because they had no D.

And then what happened when Billups came? The entire culture changed. They went from the team with no chemistry, to the team with the best chemistry in the NBA right now.

Lebron can complain about his supporting cast all he wants, but everything starts with him.

He needs to have the passion and intensity for his men to follow. And by that, I don't mean dancing and prancing around his pink sleeve and pink shoes like he's auditioning for the next season of America's Best Dance Crew.

The facts prove your wrong.

Since 1980, when the LAL won the NBA title, there have been 30 NBA Champions since than (including LAL)

Every team between 1980-2002, had at least 2 HOF players on there team or future HOF players when they won the title.

I believe it is 26 or 27 of the 30 teams have had 2 HOF players on the team.

The Rockets first title only had 1. Miami only had DWade and Detroit will not have any HOFs besides (Big maybe Billups).

Miami = Wade & Shaq

How could you possibly not be a fan of Lebron?

he's arrogant, shows no gamesmanship or other forms of showmanship that was prevalent in the previous decades, and he's an attention whore. I'm curious to see if he pussies out of the dunk contest after trying to steal the spotlight from last year's event.

Lebron once said, "If I don't wear #23, nobody else should."

He's a great player, but unless he can become a leader, he'll never be a champion.

... and it's statements like the one above that tell me he can't lead ... he wants people to worship.

I mean who the fuck calls himself King James???
