I'll never take their convictions seriously again, you can't pretend to have a foundation or a value system and then be so willing to toss it all aside when it serves your purposes to do so

there are others who always convict people the day after, based on an accusation or headline or 10 second soundbite, I'm not surprised that they do such. But a few others have shown their true colors.

That's true but in some states you'd be facing a lawsuit if you fired a guy without evidence of wrongdoing. You can't just say that Tom was at the watercooler every day at the office and Janet was also at the watercooler at times and therefore it was most likely Tom that instructed Janet to shit on the floor.

Look, Tom is probably not innocent but suspending guys without any proof at all is setting a dangerous precedent and I don't think it will stand up to appeal.

I like the Donald but he is way off base here. Court of law? The NFL is sports league filled with owners and players. Kraft is one of Goodell's biggest supporters so this couldn't have been an easy decision for him.

Brady would have been better off just saying something like .."Its my fault. I am a competitor and maybe I went a little too far in my instructions to the ball boy." Instead, he lied. The team wouldn't make available the ball boy for additional interviews after the first one. Brady was smug and lied to you all.

The NFL has to protect the integrity of the game. Punching someone's fiance in an elevator doesn't affect the integrity of the game. Neither is murdering someone.

Brady treated all this as some kind of joke. The NFL got the last laugh. Drop the appeal Tom. You have a lot of good-will built up in the NFL over your outstanding career. You should apologize, serve your suspension and get ready to play football in week 5.

The real hardcore Patriot-Haters cannot even conceive of such a thing. There mindset right now won't allow them to come down from their high and look at the big picture and what a circus of hypocrisy the NFL really is. Donald Trump more likely than not will win the New Hampshire primary today. Both FiveThirtyEight forecasts give him more than a 2-in-3 shot to finish first. So let’s take a moment to appreciate what’s about to happen. Sure, Trump has some rough precedents, like Pat Buchanan, but the fact that he will probably win the first primary is … noteworthy.
But Trump still has a long-term problem: Our forecast projects him to receive a little less than 30 percent of the vote in New Hampshire. That might be enough to win — but mostly because the field is so big and the non-Trump vote so divided. So far at least, Trump has had a ceiling on his support. And there are signs of this ceiling in upcoming primaries in the South, which was supposed to be one of his strongest regions.
Trump has historically done well in Southern polls. The region has a lot of non-college educated, moderate white voters — a demographic group that is right in Trump’s wheelhouse. These voters used to be Democrats but over the past couple of decades have identified more and more as Republicans. They’re receptive to Trump’s populist pitch.
