Detroit @ Anaheim should be very interesting tonight. I would watch that over Boston and Carolina.

Who the fuck cares what you think?

your an idiot, you dont understand.

your sport needs people like me, otherwise you will stay where you are now, behind NBA, MLB, NFL, the offseasons of the 3 sports, Golf, and Nascar.

Im giving the NHL a shot tonight. If they can impress me, thats another future viewer to help them rebuild.

The NHL is clamoring over people like me and trying to get people like me to watch.

More commentary on which game to watch is appreciated. Thanks.

If I were you I would definitely watch the Bruins - Canes game...Bruins are coming home after a good win on the road however they are still facing elimination. There is some bad blood with the punch Whitney threw at Ward when he came in as the third man. The Bruins played game 5 like they had played all season, a tough game with lots of hitting while also showing exemplary skill. You will see fights in tonight's game I have no doubt about that. The Garden will be rocking.

If you were me you could also watch the Ducks - Wings game after it...Ducks are trying to stave off elimination but the Wings seem too talented to me. They have been good historically at closing out series on the road. This one will be good but definitely not as intense as the B's - Canes game

Because the author of the thread asked?

I'd watch Boston, but that's just me, on paper, that game is a closer matchup, as much as I like the Duck story, the Red Wings should win by 2 goals, the Bruin game could go either way.

neither

firstly, get a grip of the rules of the game. Then, watch some minor hockey--no minor hockey in your area? don't fret head over to a hockey bed ( Minny, as an example) USA or anywhere in Canada. At the minor hockey level, the game will slow down for you. You'll be able to appreciate it at its most simplistic, purest form. After that, don't like it? don't watch. The NHL will be around long after you're gone.

specifically, as a suggestion, watch a peewee 'A' game.

gtc already has his mind made up. He's so starved for attention that he creates multiple threads bashing the nhl. He's only creating this thread so he can say, "see guys, I tried watching the nhl and it sucks..."

He is choosing to spend 2 hours watching a sport he hates just to prove a point on an internet message board. Fucking pathetic, don't you think?

His request for advice isn't genuine. It's sad.

And if the peewee "A" game is still a little too fast to grasp, Try the mini mites. Their line development from up in the upper bowl seats make for some incredible hockey. And as a last grasp.....These guys are easy to follow unless beer is involved.

Either game will be good tonight although ones an early game and the other is a late one so that may make the choice for you. Both the games last night were two of the best playoff games I've seen in a while, lots of scoring and lead changes like crazy. Pittsburgh / Washington Game 7 tomorrow night is gonna be absolutely nuts.

Fell asleep halfway thru the Van/Chi game. Those west coast games are killing me.

im going to do Boston-Carolina. I posted a similar thread on a different site and that was also the recommendation. I'll blog on the game in a thread in this forum with overall impressions and commentary.

also after reading previews on the 2 game, this one looks more intriguing.

one more thing about these 2 teams. which players should I look for, who are the superstars of these 2 teams. Thanks.

Bump for the moron Bruins fan who thinks game 6 is in Boston. This is too comical

Bushay , the 2nd half of that late game got crazy last night. Canucks kept jumping into the lead and then would continually blow it immediately after... it was a weird one but entertaining man. This Hawks team is gonna be a real handful in the Conference Finals, they are playing with a shitload more confidence then they had in the regular season and it shows. Khabibulin is looking solid in the pipes too, I hope to see a Detroit /Chitown series now that my Nucks are out
