Im about to get this laptop, Is it a good deal?

Decent video card, sort of slow CPU (but that might be good for battery life). I wouldn't get the 64-bit OS yet, but if it's preinstalled, that means everything on the machine is supported, so why not.

Only thing that would bug me is the standard 1280x800 resolution, but it might be a non-issue if you have a larger external monitor you can use.

i could get you a intel core 2 duo T5270, with 2gb ddr2 ram, 250gb hd, dvd burner, etc. with a 17" widescreen on it for around the same price

I think you should take care of your priorities and pay off people that you owe money to instead of pissing around buying laptops and CONTINUING to gamble. Just a thought. :nono5:
