That works. I wish to add insights as to my predictions. Reminder I'm a newbie so don't take my word too much hehe. Among those 5 games, there are 2 plays I like and would put something on it myself. Just ten bucks haha.
Nets -2.5 against Bulls. This is one of the 2 I like the most. I like the Nets because they're coming off tough games having lost 3 in a row and now at home. They're playing a Bulls team without Derek Rose as you may know.
Rockets +7 against Spurs. This is the second play I like. There is truth or fact to Spurs not winning against winning teams. This includes Rockets. Here we get a good Rockets team getting 7 points, with incentive to win from a prior loss game. Further, we're getting Jeremy Lin back who, as you may know, plays well on high profile games just like the player on our next prediction.
Heat -9 against Lakers. Lakers without Kobe and Nash. Heat with James. Nuff said. James, like Lin, plays even higher than normal on high profile games. And he's getting very comfortable at it. Lakers will surprise and keep this close but towards the end I see Heat blowing by, with James as Best Player of the Game being interviewed towards the end on how he spent New Year's Eve the night before. The only reason why this is not a preferred play for me is that 9 points is a bigger number to cover than the other 2 plays above.
Knicks +8.5 against Thunder. I know I know, Thunder just lost and they're battling an underachieving Knicks team. I just thought that 8.5 points is yummy points for Knicks and they're playing at home too. I don't see Knicks winning at all, what with Durant and the rest of the Thunder hungry to get to the Championship, but I like the chance of Knicks to lose by less than 9.
Warriors -2.5 against Clippers. I actually like this as a 3rd play but there's something iffy about it. But yes, between Clippers getting the points or Warriors giving them, I like the chance of Warriors giving them and making a cover at home.
Sorry for too long post.
