Whatever it is POUND Minnesota, trust me guys, The Illini have thrown in the towel, won't win again this year. Well they do have Indiana and Northwestern to pillow fight with LOL

Gophers -13.5. IF they have finally recovered from the Mich. debacle (big if), yes they will crush Ill.. One of the worst RD`s in the country. Their attitude is EVERYTHING in this gm.

I am now seeing -14 at Pinnacle. Seems a little high, but Illinois has been god awful and not been close to a 14 point decision in a while.

Illinois starting RB Halsey is out for this game as per CFN. True freshman starting.

The true freshman, Pierre Thomas, is real good. He scored the 2 TD's last week vs Michigan.

But thats not at all an issue, what is the issue is the fact that Illinois D can't stop anyone and for certain will give up a min of 40 points.

So i think you are looking at a 45-14, maybe 45-21 final at best.

After thier meltdown at HOME against Mich I wouldnt bet on Minny with Tommorows paper in my hand. They are PHONY.

But your also right the ILLINI are REALLY BAD.

The thing is, Minnesota hasn't suffered from a lack of points in either of the last 2 losses. They will score a MINIMUM of 40 points here, thats how bad Illinois' D is. Now Illinois has either a red shirt freshman (Pazan) who has shown a whole lot of nothing so far, or a proven loser (Dustin Ward) starting at QB.

Not sure what else people need to know, but this game will be as ugly as any of the last few Illinois games, and NONE of those was near 14 points.

brock....i see the same thing that you do.....this looks beautiful....i hammered it hard at -13(bought half).....figuring this thing has to hit 16 or 17 with the key injuries,minny`s back to back losses and the illini defense(or lack thereof)......

but,i perused several consensus sites and minny is logging in at about 75-80%....which is not a very good thing.....a very public play...

Agree w/your assessment, hate it when one side overwelming fav. And I rarely bet the M&G or the Purple. LW was exception couldn`t pass on MSt. A true whore $$ trumps love any time. Having said all this as I said in another post IF Mn. has shaken off Mich. loss, w/Mason as coach I have my doubts, they should roll. They`ll get 35 at least and even against our pathetic D, just don`t see the Illini scoring much. Of course now they`ll hang 50. LOL
