McIrish, TTT, and others that had the winner, congrats and thanks.
Illini, Kornholio, Dinosaur, etc,.etc that had the losing side.........sorry about your loss and just like I would have stated if I had lost this game, and that is it is just one game of thousands and you cant win them all and certainly can't be crucified for losing a game and by the same token, held in God like status for winning a particular game...........there were many sharp individuals on the Illini side in this game(in this thread alone).
On the game itself...........it played out pretty much as I expected, with Iowa trying to run the clock on offense and their defense(which is very good) playing smart and aggressive football.
I believe you can throw Illinois, Wisky, and Iowa in same category as far as rating the strength of the teams.......just as I thought before this game.
WISKY, my preseaon selection as the most overrated team in the country, is finally coming down to earth........with last weeks loss at Illinios and this weeks no show at Penn State(why I didnt wager on PSU is beyond me, but at least Billsey listened to me on this one and congrats to her).
I think Illinois has their hands full with a bunch of crazed Woulverines next week and it will be tough for Illinios to win that game, very tough.
