:dancefool Whooped Michigan State's ass! If they win the Big Ten Tournament they should get a #1 Seed. Anyone who thinks Iowa is a better team is nuts.

They didn't even win their conference, and until last week, they couldn't win on the road.

They will get a 2 seed if they win the Big 10 Tourn, and a 3 seed if they don't make the final.

Actually, and I highly doubt it will happen, Illinois can be co-champions of the big ten if Purdue pulls of a miracle against Ohio State.

funny thing is, they won't even be the #2 seed in the conference tourney if IOWA wins at home tonight!!

Gonzaga can wipe their asses, they don;t deserve any higher than a 5 seed for the shit league they play in and barely survive, they have had a hell of time beating San Diego, St Mary's, San Francisco!? LOL

Illinois is as good as anyone in america right now..

Beest program last 5 years in BIG 10 IMO as they just won 25 games for the 6th year in a row.

Very good team, but NO WAY they are a #1 seed....

just a short list of teams that would be selected ahead of them

Duke
Uconn
Villanova
Memphis
Gonzaga
Ohio State
Even possibly George Washington, if they win their tourney, as they just keep winning, and moving up in rankings

If they win the Big 10 tourney beating ohio state, they probably lock up a #2 seed.....

A 1 seed is impossible, but I'd say either Illinois or Ohio State gets a 2 seed -- whichever goes farther in Big 10 tourney. The other gets a 3 seed. MSU down to a 5 or 6 seed.

GW probably will get a 2 seed simply because of the record. 1 seeds are slmost too obvious with Duke, Conn, Mem, Nova. 2 seeds being Texas, GW, IL/OSU and then a wild cared let's see who wins Pac-10 or some other major conf upsets. I think Gonzaga gets a 3.

If NC wins the acc tourney, i think they will move up to a #2 seed, for sure....right now, i think they are a #3...

Here's another question, after being #1 most of the season, if Duke would get upset in first round of tourney, would they lose their #1?

Uconn and Duke have been the 2 staples for #1 seed's all season....but i dont think there has ever been a #1 seed that lost its last 3 reg season games in a row....In fact I would say I'm positive that has never happened..

Illinois beat them at Chapel Hill. That has to mean something. Neither will get 1 seeds, but both are dangerous in this tourney, and will be tough outs. I can't wait! Gotta love the Madness, my favorite time of the year, and one of the 10 most important things in my life.

Duke won't lose in the first round, so it won't matter. But they deserve the 1 seed even if the miraculous happens, in my opinion. But they lose in the Elite 8, I believe. But anything can and does happen in this world of sports. I love it.

if the committee gives any credence to a team improving throughout the year, unc will be higher than a #3 seed. take a looky at the last ten games...they are killing people:

It's a 30 game season, so it still counts. They weren't exhibition games. I agree with you somewhat, but the last 10 games factor is just one of many factors.
