Aloha Gang, I'll be the first to congradulate the winners who picked Miami Ohio. Congrats on your selection.

Now for the guys like me who was on Louisville, especially the guys who were sharp enough to wait and get the number at 14 or higher, hold your head up high, because you had the right call. That last interception at the goal line killed alot of sharp players , but for those who had Louisville, you are sharp. One ****en play cost us the win, but hey I know for a fact that all those who were on Louisville and got them at 14 and higher, you'll be back . Aloha and again to those that won Congrats to you on your win. CC.

It sucks to lose a game like this...but Louisville showed up way too late on D and made too many mistakes at the wrong times. When they didn't convert after blocking the punt, I had the feeling it wasn't in the cards...and it turned out not to be. We'll get it back...

I guess I'll be content to be the "square" with jack in his pocket that figured in Miami-O's #4 ranked T/O ratio

i guess im another "square" that cashed...lmao...you shouldnt say you were on the right side when you lost. Ill thank the Louisville coach who left the injured Qb in the game, so he could throw a couple int's.

Highdaddy congrats on your win. You were on the lucky side last night. However, I am not saying that those on Louisville was not on the right side because they lost. Its more like, they were on the unlucky side. One or two unfortunate plays, at unfortunate times, do not make it a wrong call. It just made you unlucky. Even though games can be decided by one or two plays, when capping a game out, this is one of those things that is hoped on not occurring as it cannot necessarily be put into the capping mix. If it didn't happen, then the possibility of the outcome being at least a push, is something that one can say would have definately occurred at a way higher percentage then that one very unfortunate play at the end of the game occurring. Plus, this game was more about a number and not necessarily trying to see who was the better team. I'm positive, we all agree before the game that Miami Ohio is the better team. It was the number and the dominant underdog trends that I used in deciding who to play. One play caused a lost, but not a contradiction, change, or reevaluation of my selection. This is what I mean.

As to your thanking of the Louisville's coach not taking Lefors out, it would have been easier for Miami to keep the distance in score if Louisville's coach took LeFors out. So in this case , I think we were lucky he kepted him in. Just one play. Well, its over and so am I with talking about this game. I just wanted to reaffirm others not to re-evaluate themselve or their pick, not this time and not in this game. Good Luck on the rest of the bowls, Aloha CC.

It is hard to think one had the right side with a team getting 14 and down 35-7.

Hey CC,

You know, it is funny trying to talk logic to these naive little kids on here.
The last guy thinks you are out of the game getting 14 and down by 21?

Franchise is talking sh!t the whole game when he is one play from having his nuts handed to him.

This is entertaining in a "South Park" sort of way.

So many of these people are "public squares" in the extreme. Is that why they are kept around here?

packer, I'm am glad that I didn't have to state this truth you speak of, like LSUpete said , this shit gets old.

Here is another one of those kids. Hey Kerry, I guess you never heard of the a backdoor cover. Well, keep betting on the big favorites, and you will soon learn what I mean. 35-7, c'mon did you watch the game or just call a score phone service to hear the games score. How long did that 35-7 score last. Ahh , like a min. or some. Dont waste my time with your ignorant comments. We are here to share and learn, not to make ignorant comments.

dude, please drop your obsession with me --- as LSUPete says "this shit's getting old"

The way you continue to follow me around and respond to my threads that ARE NOT DIRECTED AT YOU just reaffirms to everyone that reads this board that YOU ARE MY BITCH!

Listen son, don't be mad that I was on the right side and you were on the wrong side (again) ---- it's really not very becoming .... if you spent as much time handicapping as you do worrying about ME and responding to me with your mindless, 3rd grade smack, you might actually pick a few more winners

Your IDOL,

BDN

I dont buy the "lucky/unlucky" argument, Louisville had the ball on their own 10 with less than a minute left in the half and managed to score.

stickpin, dont misinterpret what I or others meant about being lucky or unlucky. As we all know, a football game last 3 hours, but you have to be somewhat lucky to have a game that appears to be a win or a push end up being a lost all because of one or two plays. These one or two plays that seem to change the whole complexity of a game is what we are talking about when we say having the luck on your side. Luck is always part of the game, but most times it doesn't have an impact that can turn a game completely. But when it does appear once in awhile, it always has a way of defying all the odds or common beliefs that it could happen. Luck counts for and has a place in every aspect of our lives. It plays a small part, not the majority, but it does exist.

People always try, but there is no pretty wy to put it when you L-O-S-E. There is no such thing as sharp, the right side etc. Just winning and losing.

Well, I had Louisville +14.5 and turned the game off when it was 35-7. I thought 2 things- I lost my bet and I had the wrong side. One thing is for sure-I lost my bet. If you say Louisville was the right side-then so be it. But I can say that when I turned off the TV, Miami was the right side. Sometimes when teams are way up, they tend to let up. Then the other teams gets some mo. I am thinking this is what happened!
