how does this work exactly?

shouldnt there be 4 quarter final games, and 2 semi final games?

I think it's 6 teams making the playoffs, with the top team in each group getting a bye to the semi-finals.

In the contest I am running I stated there would be 4 quarter final games, 2 semi final games, and 1 final game.

but now that I look at this it is confusing.

Only 2 quarter finals due to the winners of Group A and B (Canada and Sweden) gettting a bye into the semi-finals.

If you want us to do 7 games then the obvious ones are games:

21, 23, 24, 26, 29, 30, 31.

woody0, i just saw this now, it was a great suggestion, but I didnt read it in time and decided to go with the 10 most important games, + the total shor tiebreaker.

It probably doesn't make a difference, but the USA/SLV and RUS/CZE games are switching times. The Russian game is now at 7:30, while the USA play in the afternoon.
