Ok, so i'll admit the only reason I'm saying this is because I'm hovering around even right now, but I ain't doing so bad, an I do have a decent shot still.
But hockey is a tough sport, it's a real man sport. If you're not tough, no way you can play hockey. If you should be allowed in this hockey forum, you have to be tough. There are too many wimps in here. I don't like this.
So lets make this hockey contest more exciting, and make it more realistic. Lets make it like real hockey.

Lets apply these new rules as of tomorrow to make this more of a real hockey contest. This is no joke. I am serious.
Jeffh and N.ice will be the referess. They will make all the calls.
1- If you get into any fight with a poster, you're in the penalty box for a major penalty, you lose 2 units, and the person that started the fight (instigator), gets an extra unit penalty..
2- If you use profanity, you are penalized with a minor penalty, and you lose 1 unit.
3- If you make a mistake by writing the wrong line, for example, you write +20, instead of +25, you get called for a minor penalty and lose 1 unit.
4- If you edit your post, you get called for an unsportsmanlike conduct and lose 5 units.
5- If you write 7 games instead of 6, minor penalty and lose 1 unit.
6- If you post at 7:01 or after, a minor penalty and lose 1 unit. No more of this bullshit where we just don't count your play..
7- If you argue with Jeffh or N.ice, and you don't agree with a certain call, you could get an extra unit penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct.
8- If you swear at the refs for any reason, you could be facing disciplinary actions by the league head office (commissioner) which is Ken The Shrink. You could easily get suspended without pay (up to 10 units more taken off) or be kicked out of the contest.
9- Any poster that sweeps the board with 4 or more plays in one day, gets an additional 1 unit tacked on. We will have a player of the week, and that will be a unit added to the highest scoring player of the week. And we will also have a player of the month, who also gets 1 unit tacked on. If you get swept, you lose 1 extra unit.
10- Last one, and this is my favorite one. You are allowed to taunt. If I want to throw Ivan or EGD off their game because I know they're weak and they'll start picking losers, why can't I taunt them all I want, and make them give in by dropping their gloves and having them lose 1 unit. What is this crap of Ivan telling me, please sick gambler, leave me alone, I did NOTHING to you. Hey Ivan, this is hockey, be a man. But Ivan can fight back, but if he says the f-word, he is in the box for 1 unit. I wanna taunt people when they go 0-6. I wanna battles by all sorts. I want to see people losing it and saying, go f uck yourself when someone is laughing at their picks. Lets see them lose it and lose 1 or 2 units. This place is getting boring and repetitive. Lets add some excitement in here folks.

Folks, those are just a few examples. Unlike my thread about empty netters not counting, I am dead serious about this one. If you want to be part of a sport like hockey, then you have to be tough. What is this shit about coming in here, flipping coins, then just copying and pasting your picks in 2 min and you're out of here. The winner will be the guy that copys and pastes the best, not the most knowledgeable. Hockey is a tough sport, and if you're not tough, you don't belong here.
