I would think if one is a hobby bettor, the two most important things to them would be..........

1. SOLID PAY

2. EASE TO NAVIGATE and UNDERSTAND SITE/SOFTWARE

With less emphasis on having.....

1. HIGH LIMITS

Having said that, my top choices would then be....

BODOG
BCN
BOWMANS
HOLLYWOOD
BET365

If you want dog lines look at ABC, MVP, or Bowmans.

Any Fav is always Pinny.

I would agree that BoDog is a smart move for hobby bettors. However, if a hobby bettor is interested in college or NFL totals being posted more than "minutes" before game time they may wish to look elsewhere.

Fish I Have A Lot Of Respect For U

And like Dante I`m a casual player, no "dimes" mostly 50-200. And it`s not life or death for me. So for you to list BCN when one of your criteria is "ease of navigation" surprises me. Their site is one of the most convaluted & dificult to access I`ve ever run into. I`m just about ready to go Sky or WSex. No hard feelings.

People who would rather entertain themselves with sportsbetting then spend thier spare money on other temptations.

IOW, almost all of the regular Rx posters.

There are multiple kinds, on the other end of the spectrum you have addictive compulsive types of degenerates gamblers who will martingale there lives away because they crave the "high" they get from the risk.

Pinnacle. Reduced juice and fair lines. Pinnacle also puts their lines up quickly to give the bettor a fair shake. Why steer the hobby/novice bettor into the bloodsuckers of the industry?

I'd also say if you are the type who likes to buy points, Bodog is not for you. They only allow you to buy points if both sides are -110 and they constantly make one of the sides -115 to prevent the buying of points.

FIVE Giants come to mind:

1-Pinnacle
2-Sportsbook.com
3-BoDog
4-WSEX
5-Bet365

But I also love Skybook and Hollywood...

Hobby bettors like to have phone access to customer service.

Olympic provides a great deal for hobby bettors.
