Baseball.

The only sport where I can go 8-0 on any given day. The games are very predictable and the stats usually hold up.

The poster didn't ask what the easiest sport to beat is.

He asked if you were forced to bet only 1 sport what would you bet. Personally I'd bet college hoops because I get pretty much the same return on all sports (it averages out) and I don't really enjoy baseball. Nothing to enjoy about it IMO. College basketball and college football are much more enjoyable.

That's why I'd pick either of those if I had to follow one sport and bet it. To hell with baseball. I don't care how easy it is to beat....If I have to bet one sport it isn't going to be bases.

Plus we're smack dab in the middle of winter. NBA, NCAAB, NCAAF (just finished), NFL, etc.

It's time to talk bases when it's time to paint easter eggs.

NBA most profitable in 04, however Nascar on an hourly wage basis is by far the most lucrative sport. Too bad it is only once a week.
