This movie could have been edited into 1 hour. The story felt like it has been done so many times. The movie was just OK. It lost a lot of plus points for me they way it featured the water and the actors getting wet.....leo goes down the stream for miles in sub artctic like temperature and it is implied he was in the water for more than atleast 15 mins and gets up fine without any hypothermia. in that weather just 3 to 5 mins is enough to induce hypothermia. i liked hateful 8 better.
by the way all the academy and golden globe movies have been leaked and you can watch dvd quality online for free via streaming sites. i watched revanent on my 65 inch tv and the quality was as good as in theatres.

agreed. leo just copying jack nickholson's acting style. plus in the interview hardy said he cheated the cold by wearing electronic vests to keep him warm and leo bragged about how he didn't use that because it gave a realistic way than "acting"...plus leo also ate a real raw bison liver to make it realistic....so basically he didn't act ha. hardy on the other hand acted everything and it was finer than leos performance. leo seems to be showing same type of acting in most movies. but academy ppl are strange....they might just give it to leo because finally its his turn.
