If you think Washington is scary now, consider this: Al Gore is not ruling out a 2016 run for president.

Al Gore 2000 was awful, proving himself willing to divide the country and put it through hell during his attempt to sue his way into the White House. Al Gore 2016 would be many times worse. He would be a single-issue president, and that issue would be the total destruction of the economy in the name of the debunked global warming hoax.

A fawning interview by the libs at Politico reminds us that true believer moonbats still think not only that global warming exists, but that it is an urgent crisis, worthy of drastic sacrifices in terms of wealth and freedom — never mind that so far 2014 has been the third-coldest year in US history despite carbon levels climbing higher than ever.

Even among the lefty Kool-Aid set, Gore is a pioneer charting new territory on the far side of the lunatic fringe. Astonishingly, he shrieks that the liberal media, which has hysterically promoted his hoax at every turn, is in league with “the carbon polluter lobby” and “anti-statist right-wing ideological groups.”
His agenda in his own words:
“I want to catalyze the emergence of a solution to the climate crisis as quickly as possible. Period.” face)(*^%

The supposed solution to this imaginary crisis would inevitably entail a centralized Soviet-style economy and the reduction of our standard of living to Soviet if not medieval levels. Incidentally, it would make our rulers as powerful as the global warming hoax has made Al Gore rich. Largely thanks to his exploitation of the climate hoax, he is worth well over $200 million. There is nothing more for him to want now but power.

Al Gore has absolutely no chance of winning, well maybe a slim chance the Repubs could screw that up too.

it's kinda funny how this was the narrative about democrats until 2008, since the GOP won 5 out of 7 elections and only one democrat was elected twice since FDR

how many times was the democratic party buried alive?
1984, 1988, 1994 & 2004
I'm thinking they were called dead at least 4 times

Al Gore running for president, why not?

He has been VP, he won the popular vote in 2000, he’s been a Congressman and a Senator. Hell, he even won a Noble Peace Prize.

He’s also a Vet and a tree hugger, that has got to be worth something, no?

His resume is stronger than the soon to be granny, Hillary.

He won’t be Democratic nominee because he’s a male and his wife is named Tipper. Who names their kid Tipper?

Once again history will be made, the first female president will be elected in 2016.

Won’t it be great?

I think the bottom line is that many Dem's at the top are realizing that Hillary has dents in her armor to say the least. Although Gore does also this is where the Dem's start the infighting which is typical of a party facing the fact that their party is fading from glory. Obamacare is tanking, and the dem's only accomplishments are running people out of the job market, increasing food stamp recipients, and putting this country deeper in debt. They will be coming out of the wood work from this point on. The Dem's might as well face the fact that Hillary is more of a liability than an asset. Gore is just the first of many to jump on board as an alternative to Hillary. Beginning of the end for the Dem's.
