how many advertisers would you have?

would you have as many as possible or would you limit it to a certain number?

I would limit it to well know well established books only...with at least 1 yr successful operation...and no report of slow pays....

not sure how many books that would be probably 10 or so

Honestly, whatever would make me the most money long-term. Might be fewer advertsirs to get more bang for the buck for each one, might be more to prime the pump. Just depends on the realities. But the bottom line is the bottom line. The PR of taking on weaker advertisers is a factor though of course.

I'd sell space to anyone that could pay.... why not? If they go out of business life goes on. All the sites I know of have had books go under and they're still up and running. Is that ethical? No.... but neither is a lot of things in the business world or the gambling world. Like closing down one book, keeping the money and reopening under another name. Happens all the time.... stick with the big boys and ignore any new books coming along that try to buy instant credibility by advertising on a 'watchdog' site. IF I sound a little cynical it might be because I'm still waiting for Mark Del to send me that $4800.00 check Camelot owes me.

max,

i understand how you feel completely. it must be tough for these guys that own sites to try to decide between making money and making sure that they only take on books that are solid.

im sure that sometimes despite a book seeming to be very solid, people can be fooled by shitt books that will eventually go down.

pier0,

seriously, if you owned a site and someone offered you say 50k to advertise on it, wouldnt you have a hard descision to make?

lets say the book in question has only been around for 6 months, and offers a 25% bonus with 3x rollover, some soft lines, but there havent been any payout problems that anyone knows of.

what would you do?

RPM,

if the website is your only business and income's source, you should take it.
Then again depends on how much it is 50k worth to you...

BTW, I own a website where I report daily news about the industry and I don't take money from bookmakers (must be the only one).

Haven't received many 50k offers though:103631605

Just checked out your site Pier.... Good Job:103631605

Glad to see you like Stan James ... very popular in Europe, not sure but I think they have some new guys over there from Bet365. As far as BetandWin goes thats just their "business as usual" .... to mutch volume there to worry about the CS dept....been with them for years in the tennis dept....no complaints except for the no-US customers move a couple years ago.

Take care, G
