DON'T do it !!

Yeah it's great to see a fight in person.. but it was beyond Crazy ! The people ... it's fuking Sick !

So we were staying at the Mirage, so you figure a ride from there to the MGM would be 10 mins Tops... even 15 minutes, well it took almost 30 minutes
then you get there and the place is Mobbed ! took 40 minutes to get in. and 1 hour and 10 minutes to get Out.
Just Wall to Wall people.

probably wouldn't do it again, because I can say I did it.

Saw plenty of "Stars" some that I recognized...and some I didn't, but you knew they were 'Somebody'

I think I was more impressed with warren buffett, who had a HUGE amount of people around him. ( Bodyguards )

do the stars have to wait 70 min to get out as well or do they have a special exit?

Saw a few go through a Different exit. I know de la hoya and crew went through where Mayweather came out of. Guess a bunch did. Buffett did too

I went to a tuesday night boxing match 20-25 years ago. I was a kid going to my first boxing match. There were fights breaking out all over the arena. Kind of scary experience.

hawaii is so ghetto

I'm incredibly jealous BAS... I will do everything in my power to catch Mayweather in may or Sept....

I'm shocked its like that though.. I'm guessing you didn't show up to the main event??

I went to the contender (reality boxing series) finale that was in the Staples Center. And it was one of the most electric exciting sporting event's I've attended. So ill be disappointed if doesn't live up to that...

were tickets ridiculous? how was your view of the fight?

How much did you put on mayweather =)

oh, come on. fight day/afternoon/night in vegas is awesome! apparently you didnt get there to see many of the undercard fights. normally there are abt 8 or so and the place is almost empty. my wife loved seeing all of the "stars", i didnt know many of them so she was telling me, "there's so and so from this or that show/movie". we had a great time. definitely an experience i thought everyone would enjoy!

He does do an auction every year, go to Lunch with him or something like that. I believe it goes for around $250,000 +

Don't get me wrong... we had a Great time... and it was something i wanted to do. I used to go to fights back in the 80's, and saw a few Great fights.
It just was a madhouse ... also, i did get to see the Bey fight.
People, Including my host said i should get there by 4-4:30 so it wouldn't be crazy and to see the undercard fights, but I didn't...

and I agree, the experience was worth seeing

ive seen a few at caesars, most notably holyfield/bowe. i found my flier from the fight a yr or so ago and saw that marco antonio barrera was on the uc. he fought like 2nd or 3rd on that night. just goes to show that some of those uc fighters turn in to the real deal eventually. as a fight fan, i thought that was pretty awesome.

I've never been to one in vegas, but it has been on my to-do list for a while....even my wife is pumped up to get all dressed up and go see a big time fight....maybe we should save our $ for something else....

I saw klitchsko fight at staples a while back but it was kind of weak....
