The Red Sox play is my $$$$ play regardless of anything else.
I will take them at this price against the Nationals any time of the week.
If they lose ... they lose, but this is the correct play.

(unless Wang gets traded from the Yanks to the Red Sox and makes his debut tonight). lol

Too much value for the Red Sox to pass up tonight.
Like I said, if it loses, it loses, but this is the right play for the number.

I would play this game 10 out of 10 times ... and it would win 8 times.
(hopefully one of the eight is tonight).

I personally don't look at who is on what ... blah blah blah
I do my own capping and I look at NO ONE (handicappers, vegas etc ...).

The fact is: Red Sox are the play or don't play anything at all.
Red Sox win this game 8 out of 10 times with this exact price.
I will take my chances with the Red Sox.

bragg, i respect your analysis. i have seen you post on here for a while. i understand your thinking in that the red sox are the better team. i am not disputing that. however, if the best team won every time, then vegas would be bankrupt and everyone would be doing this. this line stinks so bad its unreal, vegas is the smartest and would never likes to give money away. this line seems to be too easy and lannan has been on fire the last three starts. penny is prob the weakest of bostons starters, i understand nats penn is a mess, but the sharp money on this one is on Nats. best of luck to you .

Actually you are wrong my man. Pennys last 5 starts he has averaged::

6 Innings per start with an era of 2.13 and thats against nyy,tor,fla,tex and minny some of the premier teams in MLB. Sox have given him an avg. of 4 runs per start in last 5.

Lannan has averaged 6.2 innings per start with an era of 2.70 he has got an average of 3.4 runs in last 5 starts

Sox have to be the play
