I think the nationals win, but I always have a hard time betting on them.
Whenever I bet them, I just go ahead and pull out the lube to get my butt hole ready.
lol
Do NOT bet on the nationals...trust me, they can't be trusted.
They beat the Brewers two games in a row, and are on their longest win streak of the year.
So, game 3 of the series, they have a nice thing going and the manager decides to start two guys hitting below the Mendoza line (Belliard and Kearns) who go 0-5 and 0-3 respectively and who leave nine men on base out of a total of 11 left on base - so they lose.
The team wins four in a row and scores 30 runs in the last three games, so the manager changes things.
Wednesday, he moved Willingham up to third in the order and moved Zimmerman down to fourth and sat out Dunn and utlized two right handed batting players hitting below the Medoza line who went 0 fer and left 9 men on base.He did this ostensibly because Milwaukee had a left handed pitcher - but the statistics show that lefties hit over 300 against this lefty and right handers only 250.
Yesterday, he benches Willingham and Guzman (Nats best player), moves Johnson up to third in the order and Zimmerman down to 5th; moves his second baseman to ss, and bats him second, though he is only 3 for his last 50 and a new second baseman and a new left fielder because he shifts Dunn to rightfield. The new lineup shows its futility when 3 times in a row, Nyjer Morgan starts out an inning on second base with no outs and we get no runs out of it - and the Nats lose 7-3 and we make two errors by the new infield players that let in the 4th and 5th runs in the 7th inning when the score is 3-3.
Ineptitude at it's absolute best.
Betting on the Nats is worse than flipping a coin.
