Detroit Tigers (first 5 innings) -140

Okay ... today I am going with the Tigers in the first five innings.
Carmona has been rocked early all year long and I don't see anything different today.

For those who don't have first 5 inning bets, you can play this full game as well, because I think Detroit wins the game. However, the first five innings is the best bet (I am tired of bullpens screwing me over).

I also like a few other games today, so if you want my opinion on a game, just ask. I will be around.

good luck today fellas!

I just posted this game as my biggest play too. I love the tigers here. Jackson has the indians number and Carmona just doesnt have it this season.

I think the nationals win, but I always have a hard time betting on them.
Whenever I bet them, I just go ahead and pull out the lube to get my butt hole ready.

lol

nats 1st 5 is probably good. they are putting together quite an offensive team and Lannan is their ace.

Do you like the Rockies

I agree with what you say about bull pens. But the flip side is I've been on a few five inning lines this year where I lost the bet but the team won the game. The Tigers are a team that has been known to come from behind. Not lately, but they can.

thegreek has the Cleveland TT UN 4 at -115.

Considering Jackson's sporting a .64 ERA against them in 2 starts, and that opposing teams haven't scored more than 4 runs off the Tigers in his last 10 starts, it looks like a solid wager.

Oh yeah, VMart will probably on a plane to his new team by game time...

Do NOT bet on the nationals...trust me, they can't be trusted.

They beat the Brewers two games in a row, and are on their longest win streak of the year.

So, game 3 of the series, they have a nice thing going and the manager decides to start two guys hitting below the Mendoza line (Belliard and Kearns) who go 0-5 and 0-3 respectively and who leave nine men on base out of a total of 11 left on base - so they lose.

The team wins four in a row and scores 30 runs in the last three games, so the manager changes things.

Wednesday, he moved Willingham up to third in the order and moved Zimmerman down to fourth and sat out Dunn and utlized two right handed batting players hitting below the Medoza line who went 0 fer and left 9 men on base.He did this ostensibly because Milwaukee had a left handed pitcher - but the statistics show that lefties hit over 300 against this lefty and right handers only 250.

Yesterday, he benches Willingham and Guzman (Nats best player), moves Johnson up to third in the order and Zimmerman down to 5th; moves his second baseman to ss, and bats him second, though he is only 3 for his last 50 and a new second baseman and a new left fielder because he shifts Dunn to rightfield. The new lineup shows its futility when 3 times in a row, Nyjer Morgan starts out an inning on second base with no outs and we get no runs out of it - and the Nats lose 7-3 and we make two errors by the new infield players that let in the 4th and 5th runs in the 7th inning when the score is 3-3.

Ineptitude at it's absolute best.

Betting on the Nats is worse than flipping a coin.

Bragg what do you think of the Brewers today? Line does seem low, but Looper has owned the Padres and won like his last 4 starts against them from his STL days.
What's the deal with this game?

GL on that one, i ain't touching it, can't get a good read.

please explain?
You have one of the hottest pitchers versus the worst pitchers.

Jackson 2.00 ERA in his last 10 starts ... averaging 7 innings a game
Carmona 4.00 ERA in his last 10 starts ... averaging 4.8 innings a game

Carmona's last 3 games have been awful.
Minnesota ... 2 innings pitched, 7 runs
Yankees ... 4 innings pitched, 7 runs
Rays ... 1 inning pitched, 5 runs

He gives up a lot of runs and he gives them up early.

Detroit is 7-2 against Cleveland this year ... and now we have the Tigers hottest pitcher against the Indians worst pitcher.

Seems good enough reason to me. The Tigers is the side to be on (even if they happen to lose).

When I saw your thread I knew it would be the Tigers.

What do you think about Tampa? Price vs Ponson.
