the key is having the cash go to the customer in some way after grading, some cash card type of system. with no extra fees. customers would feel super safe if that was the case day after day after day.

id mail out scratch tickets 3-4 times a week to the same people over and over giving people a chance to win up to 500$ on a match play but making sure they never win more than 50$
id also send out pictures of hot women giving each other a wedgie just to let sqaures know "this is isnt your daddys sportsbook, but you might want to let him know about it"
id also take out full page ads in boring airplane magazines that people usually thumb through in 10 seconds with big fat men painted in blue war paint and sitting on the couch
id also send out a 40 page sports schedule encouraging people to come online to see the site and call my toll free to sign up even though the other 39 pages of the schedule are virtually useless becuase they get their games gametimes and spreads from online
id stiff every customer when it was neccesary unless they came to the RX for help then id resolve the problem quickly so everyone can say my book is the best even though 90% of the people who say so havent placed a bet in like a week

I'd buy Pinnacle, Hollywood, CRIS, WSEX, 5Dimes and Olympic and I would hire the guys that run them to keep on running them. I'd corner the whole fliping market...
And quite possibly, I'd try to buy the players database from BoS and VIP principals...

Not alot of people have good ideas or do not want to share. I thought the feedback would more plentiful. It's not about whether you had to choose if you wanted. The scenerio was if you Did want to. Apparently the majority really do not know what steps would need taken to become the best.
