This is wrong wrong wrong. 1080p is as good as it gets, it's the highest resolution...and most TV's don't support it, although they are coming out (Westinghouse, new JVC, etc). 1080i is the tops for nearly everything, and most only do 720p.sean1 said:Check out Mark Cuban's HDNET channel. He films in 1080 lines/screen whereas most channels who claim to be high def use 720.
All HD tvs can handle 1080, some can handle 1300+
