What sport (if any) would you care who won if you didn't have money bet on the games?

I know there is NO way I'd keep up with regular season NBA,MLB,NHL if I didnt have money wagered. However,I do like NFL,NCAA football and NCAA baskets well enough to stay interested throughout season even if I didn't bet on them.

Obviously, this thread is for amusement purposes only because I bet on every"F*CKING"thing that has a line!:digit:

I still root for teams I grew up watching no matter what sport even if I don't have a bet. In my case all the Boston teams Sox, Celts, Pats, Bruins and Boston College. Natrually that changes if I happen to bet against one of them.

Yes. Baseball. Lifetime Giants fan since they moved from New York to San Francisco in the late 50's. Still waiting for our first World Series Champion. Awfully close 3 years ago.:sad3:

Nonetheless, I do cheer for the Milwaukee Bucks, Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, St. Louis Cardinals, Marquette (formerly Warriors) Golden Eagles, UWM Panthers, and the Wisconsin Badgers. In hockey, the Buffalo Sabres have been my favorite since around '71, which was its second season, IIRC.

Without any money on the game, there is no excitement in watching. If the US could some how magically stop all wagering, no one would watch. The advertisers would stop advertising. The networks would stop broadcasting the games. Pro sports would come to a halt completely. Now there's a thought.

First off Gambling will never end, as much as I hate using that word NEVER, he may get slowed down, even Magic couldnt stop it. you dont have to ever worry about the Network to stop broadcasting games, Pro Sports will never ever come to a HALT.
