how can Wade be a horrible pick if he has already proven he can win a title in the NBA?? please tell me your joking
Seems teaming Shaq up with a good player win championships. The Heat were average when Shaq showed up, then they won it all. Lakers were winning championships with Shaq there, he leaves, they are average. Shaq is the reason Wade and Kobe have rings. Wade and Kobe are great players, but Shaq was the main guy that got those teams over the hump.
For what it's worth, I liked what the Heat were building with Wade, Odom, and Caron Butler before the trade. I had them to win it all the year before the Shaq trade went down.
Dominant centers win championships for the most part. The Pistons with Ben Wallace were a little off-norm, but if you look back, a team with a top 3 NBA center wins a majority of the championships... I know Duncan plays PF but he's really a C. Duncan and Shaq win championships.

7 of the last 8. This era is all about the center. Jordan is the only guy who has really done well without a dominant center.
