If you can invite any human being, man or woman(alive) to your house for the day and shoot the breeze and have dinner with.. who would it be? Who is that person you grew up idolizing as a kid, your childhood hero? Maybe it's that guy.

Which athlete, movie star, or any famous person would it be? Who is that person you've always dreamt of sitting with and asking him all those questions you've always wanted to ask. Who is that person that you would be sitting next to in your living room and you'd be saying... WOW!!! I can't believe I am sitting here watching tv next to this person in my house.

Is it the Pope, Mel Gibson, Robert Deniro, George Clooney, Michael Jordan, John Elway, George W. Bush, Shaq, Cal Ripken, for you old timers, how about old actors/actresses from the 40's and 50's who you grew up watching, like Shirley Temple, Audrey Hepburn. For you music lovers, Mick Jagger, Madonna, Cher, Paul McCartney, or how about Arnold Schwarzenegger, or even our very own, The Shrink..

Mine would be John Travolta (Grease, Sat Night Fever, Vinny Barbarino).. My first choice would have been Archie Bunker (Carroll O'Connor if he was still alive)

Joe Montana. My childhood hero. The first football game I ever saw on TV (or that I remember seeing) was the NFC Championship game vs Dallas (The Catch).. Years later, I was fortunate enough to meet him at a card show. Had to pay I think 150 to get an autograph on my football and another 150 for a nice picture with him. Best 300 dollars I ever spent. That is the only person dead or alive, I'd pay for his/her autograph and/or a picture with.

Maybe you could teach me some nifty little scamming tricks and I could become even MORE profittable than I already am.

My second choice would be none other than....Ricardo Mayorga, one of my favorite boxers. We could talk about how he is going to bust COry Spinks head into 2

Railbird, WTF man??? Mary Carillo?? What the hell is a Mary Carillo anyways??? Never heard of her. Of all the amazing people out there who we grew up watching on tv, you have to come up with a Mary Carillo? Was that the best you can do??

Red,

Great choice. Joseph Montana is great. I'm sure there will be some Joe Namath's too in the mix, and Kareem, and Magic, and Bird, and Marino, Elway and other famous NFL stars, and Hank Aaron, and some Yankee greats of the past. I am curious to see if there will be more movie stars selected, or athletes, since we are in a sports forum. I wonder if my Canadian friends will say Wayne Gretzky, Bobby Orr, or Celine Dion..

I am sticking with mine..

I met Travolta early this year when I was on vacation in LA right outside my hotel. He was an extremely nice guy. He sat and talked to me and my two friends for 10-15 minutes and there was nobody else around (it was 2-3am). He was a lot taller than I would have expected.

I did have dinner once with Joe Dumars, a buddy of mine knows him well that lives in Orlando. When he comes to town they always get together and I finally made it once. One of the classiest guys I have ever met.

I can't think of anyone right now though several would be interesting to eat with. Charles Barkley for one would be a hoot.
