If you bet mostly dog wouldn't Bovada be a good book?

Just wondering what people think of Bovada. Seems like if you play the dogs that would be a great place to bet them.

I think there SB line right now is Seattle +3 +120.

Is it a good book for playing taking the points?

Any other thoughts or comments about this book?

I would have to think you got the wrong quote on the SB line. Maybe not. They are all about inflating the price on favorites, but that seems very extreme.

typically bovado do shade line toward favorites so if you like dogs, they would be a great place to play.

Not that quick.... first they give you bad lines, then they limit what you can bet then shut off the water. It has happened a lot faster on some Euro sites than Bovado.

Best book for betting dogs is SportsInteraction. Their customers are the squarest of squares and they love the favourites. As a result you can get some fantastic value on dogs particularly for MLB and NFL.

My experience on Bovada has been that they do deal dual lines. They seem to have better odds for underdogs on a per game basis, but definitely have better odds on their future buts (odds to win Super Bowl, etc) are much better & provide a good value there. I've had that account forever, which is the main reason I still use it. I wouldn't recommend opening a new account there unless you are looking to line shop some future bets.
