These picture and quality is great this season. Now they even let you watch 4 games at once and EACH game looks great. Also, they have picture in picture.

And I havent used it yet, but they also offer DVR functions as well!

This is DEFINITELY worth the $20 a month. You will not find a better investment out there to spend $20 a month on!

The feeds are 3x better than what you get on justintv, I can promise you that

It's cheaper if you buy it for the season instead of the month. The one negative is the Fox network Saturday afternoon games are blacked-out. You are right, the picture quality is awesome. Games are archived also.

Wow $20 a month, I never seriously checked into it as I assumed it would be a lot more than that. Thanks.

ya just wait until you purchase it, you won't be saying all this. i did, and already canceled it. the screen kept freezing, and the feed is a few minutes behind. I have extra innings as well, and at times the feed over MLB.TV was a half inning behind. I thought it was because I had other screens running, so I let it up on my out computer running by itself, and it still kept up. MLB.COM CS is awful as well. they say they will return your call/email within the same day. that's a bunch of bullshit. took me 4 days to finally talk to someone. the blackouts are ridiculous too. EVERY game during the Saturday time slot are blacked out as well (main reason I bought it) . don't waste your money, just purchase extra innings.

There is a huge difference between the nexdef and the "normal" screen when it comes to delay. Since I'm located in Germany, there are no blackouts and it's a great offer in my opinion since I can connect my laptop with my projector and watch 4 games simultaneously and a 5th one, that is aired by ESPN America, on my regular TV.
In contrast to last years mosaicTV I also haven't experienced any trouble with frozen screens yet (mosaicTV made my PC crash EVERY time, when I switched games last year), so I really love MLB.TV.

Great way to get a feeling for different teams and pitchers and since I don't trade in game at betfair or other exchanges I even don't mind any delay at all (besides that I didn't realize, that the normal feed is behind more than 10 sec. at all compared to Cable while nexdef is really way behind, but offers a great picture quality if you don't mind being delayed)

In Vegas, Cox cable, MLBtv is $7.95 a month and grouped in with a sports package including NFL network, NBAtv, ESPNnews, ESPN classic, a bunch of Fox sports channels, etc. However only MLB and NFL are in HD. Still a great deal.

Agree with you...MLB is now my home channel.

Amen brother. I signed up and it was nothing but a joke with the picture freezing and slow as hell. If you want your baseball, don't waste your money on this crap their charging you for while they still try and work the bugs out.
Just get the MLB Extra Innings

I should say that I signed up for the premier version at $19.95 a month.

It is cheaper by the year, but not too much. The season is only 6 months long. Actually about 5 months long if you sign up today. So maybe paying by the month is the best option for everyone

MLB tv is a joke it freezes constantly with awful delays and blackouts. Make sure you cancel at the end of the year or they auto charge your cars next season

I agree - I havent found any problems with it and dont have to worry about blackouts either since I am in the UK.

Same thing with the delay - if you have it in nexdef then the delay is very noticable, but at normal definition it is with maybe 2 seconds at most from the same game on TV and in my experience works rather well for in-game betting (on the 3 matches I have done this for anyway).

Gotta be careful as it does freeze up slightly every now and then throughout the game and when it comes back the delay is noticable again - but if you refresh the game then it usually comes back to withing 2sec again so as long as you are paying attention then it is not a problem.

For the price I can't argue with that personally...
