i always wondered why coaches never did this, that was the only chance boise would have had after the pick. kinda like why no one fouled and put the other team on the line when they were up 3 until it cost someone a national title. i would have let the other team waltz into the endzone and got the ball back down 8. now of course the player could just fall down once he got the first down, but do you really think these college kids would do that?

If i have the ball with a minute or two, then you wanted to walk me? I WON"T walk. Why should i walk for you to have a chance to tie a game?

I have said this many times before too. Teams should try and let the other team score in this situation. I think the Bills did it a few years ago also.

I can remember brian westbrook having a breakaway td then falling down at the one to let the eagles run the clock out. But most times, I bet the player scores.

the other team could run out the clock instead of scoring... just keep getting the first downs and then drop and burn the clock.. thats the dumbest thing ive heard in awhile..

pa thats exactly what i thought he should do, and i really thought he would be smart enough to do that he could have had about 2 minutes left to score but whatever, hell i thiught he should have not kicked that field goal with 4 minutes left in the game to me if you don't make it you hold them and get good field position again after you make them punt and if you don't hold them you were going to lose anyway.
