if you are a bookmaker, would you take bets from members of an online forum?

No way. I had 3 bookmakers in pennsylvania and knew them well. All lived within 3 miles. They were not running anywhere. It would be so easy to get ripped off by someone livng out of state. At a bash a few years ago, i was approached by a well known member and asked if i wanted to bet on credit. I declined. This well known member just disappered and i dont have to tell you why. I dont know how many people he ripped off but i wasnt one of them

well 3 wks in and ive got my first stiff. owes 1k this wk. whats worse is i paid him 300 last wk when he won....ive sent him texts all day today and called him several times. no luck, he doesnt reply. i guess ill take the other guy's, (willie i think?), method and give him a few days to reply before putting his name out here.

i shouldnt be surprised that this happened since he doesnt have very many posts. live and learn i guess. wonder if bas can tell me if this guy has other usernames??

Not saying posters with high post counts are A+ credit worthy but posters who have been around awhile and seem trustworthy are going to be much less likely to stiff than some fool with 300 posts.

Today is the day payment is due? He could definitely pay but in general you probably wanna stick to regular posters or atleast semi-regular.
