out of the choices, I have had the least amount of problems with Continental. But hands down Jet Blue has been the best experiences for me

a big thanks to you guys that recommended Continental...NOT! After picking my seats, and passing the point of no return the final confirmation screen gave me the alert that some or all of my seats are unavailable and they will let me know 24 hrs before my flight what my seats actually are. Why show which seats are available and let you pick your own just to tell you after late to cancell the order? Very disappointed. Would call and bitch but I hate calling people. Maybe I'll harass them on facebook.

Although I hate the fact you can hardly get a nonstop flight to anywhere except to Vegas, I would have to go with Southwest Airlines. Although some people think that their seating is like a "cattle call", they get you on board and in the air faster than anyone else. I really can't remember any time that I've been delayed flying with them. Another plus is the fact that they still don't charge for luggage. If you fly enough, that savings alone could pay for a "free" flight faster than getting flyers mileage points.

Oh great, another hiccup. Continental charged me again three days later for the same tickets. Fuck me.

Any idea which number to call to get my double charge resolved? Also should I press them for some upgrades for the inconvenience?

Fly any Asian Airline one time across the Pacific and you will start to wonder why US flights are even in existence when it comes down to courtesy and comfort.....

I'm with VD on this. The flight attendants are gorgeous dressed to kill in the hottest uniforms i have ever seen. The service is impecable and they feed you nonstop. But I will say flying out of cr to the states taca is pretty awesome free food, free cocktails alll you can drink.

you will if the price is right, they know it, you know it, etc etc, in many cases you simply dont have a significant advantage of sticking to your guns if the price is right and the layovers /route is reasonable, regardless of whatever issue you had, a problem with an airline is not an "if" but a "when"

I've flown 250k miles in Continental (now united) had VERY few issues, I had a significantly higher amount with American in less amount of flying (about 150k miles)

those girls can only do a max of 5 years in that job and also there are clauses in their contract that if , for example they gain x amount of pounds they are history

This! Asiana blew me away in every way possible - food, drinks, seats, entertainment, stewardesses, cleanliness, free tour of Seoul (including lunch at a Korean bbq) during a layover. A 13 hour flight to South Korea was more comfortable than a 5 hour flight to Hawaii on American, United, etc.

Even Vietnam Airlines was better than any domestic carrier - they provided a meal (free) with complimentary alcohol for a 1.5 hour flight from Hanoi to Siem Reap.

I would create a thread asking who to choose =) haha.. really though in my limited experience, I liked AirTran and United .... didn't like American at all but then again it was a tiny plane held 18 people I think
