They should start by producing a health care plan, JMO, if they could produce a plan and be able to say, "this is waaay better than the ACA that Obama laid out" they would probably win hands down, especially if they win the senate. If they are going to make a move the time is now, don't sit back with the same old boring approach, it won't work. Gulp I can't believe I am going to say this, be a little more like Scott Walker, Walker ran with a campaign, a risky one but he had a plan, the state of WI voted him in and many are content with the job he is doing. Walker has people who absolutely HATE HIS GUTS but he didn't waver, the state cut a lot of trim and is adding jobs so I have to give him a thumbs up even though there are things about the guy that make my skin crawl. I don't think Walker will be ready by 2016 and even though WI seems to like him, I don't know if he can win over the states he needs to at this point. The wrong way to go about it is to bring up the gun laws, anti aborrtion, gay issues etc, they always seem to rally around. Come up with some Plans.

Just like with all politicians regardless of their party affiliation, first you have to have a clue, and then you need a plan. lol

The Dem's are going for the jugular for the next couple of years because it is do or die for them. The door has been opened for the Republicans. They need to do whatever it takes win over Independents, conservatives, and libertarians and not get dragged into the mud with what will abe comming from Alexrod etc.

And he did it without a Harvard law degree. He wasn’t president of the Harvard Law Review. He didn’t community organize. He wasn’t a Senator. He wasn’t a Civil Rights Attorney. He didn’t lecture Constitutional Law. He didn’t win a Nobel Peace Prize.

He never did any of those things, hell, he never even graduated college.

All he did was cut taxes for businesses, changed the collective bargaining process for most public employees, take a deficit and turn it into a billion dollar surplus and then cut taxes again.

Not too shabby.

Yep I am liking the guy more and more. I have friends who are in teachers unions and grain unions who are absolutely pissed but they were getting the gravy for too long. My buddy is a fucking state grain inspector, anyone can do that and he has the best benefits around, he doesn't get a great salary but his retirement and health bennies are out of this world. Shit people retire at 55 from that job

NEW YORK TIMES – The Wisconsin Assembly has passed Gov. Scott Walker’s $504 million tax-cut plan. The chamber approved the bill on Tuesday by a vote of 61 to 35. The Senate passed it earlier this month. Assembly approval sends the bill on to Mr. Walker for his signature.

The governor wants to use a portion of the state’s projected $977 million surplus to pay for cuts in property and income taxes. He introduced a bill in January that would send $406 million to technical colleges to reduce their property tax hit and cut income taxes by $98 million by reducing the lowest bracket to 4 percent from 4.4 percent. The end result would be a $131 reduction a median home’s tax bill this December and $46 in annual income tax savings for the average worker.

A majority of Democrats want the Obama administration to approve the Keystone XL pipeline, but the project is highlighting divisions between segments of the party’s supporters, according to a new poll.
The American public at large remains highly supportive of the pipeline, which would carry crude oil from Canada to refineries on the Gulf coast.
Sixty-one percent of all respondents in a Pew poll released on Wednesday want the pipeline built, while only 27 percent oppose its construction.
Democrats favor the project by a 49-38 margin.
Among college-educated Democrats, support for the pipeline is low. Only 39 percent favor the pipeline, while 47 percent oppose it.
However, Democrats without college degrees favor construction, 53 percent to 34 percent.
The poll also shows that support for the pipeline is strongest among lower-income Americans.
A 54 percent majority of those making less than $50,000 per year support the project. Of the three income groups listed, only a majority of those making more than $100,000 opposes the pipeline.
Keystone is becoming a political liability for Democrats as key segments of the party’s base such as labor unions grow weary of the administration’s continued refusal to issue a decision on its construction.
The project must receive approval from the State Department because it crosses an international border.
