whoa!! Romo?? hes never won a playoff game and actually was the leading factor to losing one

might as well put Eli on the list if you're going to include Tony Ohno

In my book, Romo is the 163rd best QB ...

i'll take romo over eli anyday, say what you will about romo but the guy makes plays and the only thing eli has better than romo is his last name.

hes not but until romo wins 1 playoff game , he shouldn't be compared to someone with a super bowl ring.

Brady 3 rings
Manning 1 ring
brees 0 rings
rivers 0 rings

Big ben 2 rings and you rank him lower then rivers?? just do not get that

Personally, believe RINGS WON to be only part of the equation won evaluating a QB............... having said that, when comparing RIVERS to BIG BEN I totally agree with DANTE on this one, BEN's two rings in hand enables him to surpasses RIVERS at this point in time in determining who the better QB to date has been and who has had the better overall career.

If both had ZERO rings, would rate Rivers ahead of Big Ben, but in this particular case, the two rings won by BIG BEN enables him to sit a notch or two above Rivers.

Big Ben has been a solid, solid playoff performer in his young career to date.

the bottom line is this

we are arguing over apples and oranges, those top 7 are the class of the class,

what people should be arguing about is the next 7 b/c thats where it really gets dicey....id rate Ryan #8 and after that, who cares....

very true...any team w a top ten qb has a shot to make a good run for the sb. after that, the rest are just 'pie filling'...:pimp:

eli was on the road through the playoff's, has to be a little impressive to say the least...plus a last drive to win it all was on his shoulder's, somthing that romo has yet to prove and prob never will, imo....

I will disagree in this case because IMHO, Big Rapist Ben won those Rings because of the Team he had.
And SB XL was a Joke for him... he had something like a 23 QB Rating !!
No, I'm not missing any numbers in that Rating... 23

So, IMO ... he's a good QB, not a Great one...... and he has been helped by the Team that he has around Him.

football is a total team sport to begin with, but what he does at crunchtime is what start's to seperate him from alot of other qb's. they had more play's of 20+ yds this season, which led the nfl....he might not be the flashy type qb like some of the rest, but he know's how to get the job done when it matter's most. esp when needing a last drive to win a game. roger's this yr in the playoff's had to sit on the bench during two of his gms, phil and chi, to watch his def close out the win for the team instead of him doing it while being on offense....

Romanowski says Rodgers the NFL's best

By Bob Wolfley of the Journal Sentinel
Feb. 4, 2011 11:43 a.m. |
Dallas - Former linebacker Bill Romanowski thinks the Steelers' defense has the edge over the Packers' defense but the Packers' own the edge on offense.
And, oh yeah, that Rodgers guy is pretty good.
"Clearly, statistics say Pittsburgh's defense is the best," Romanowski said during an interview in the media center. "But there are so many things that go into it. The amount of injuries that Green Bay has dealt with and overcome - but I give the edge to Pittsburgh.
"But sometimes your best defense is a great offense," Romanowski said. "I give the edge to Green Bay on offense. I think Aaron Rodgers is the best quarterback in the NFL because of his fundamentals, because there is not a throw he can't make. He can throw on the run both directions, which is really hard to do. He's great in the pocket. He's very calm and cool. I am really, really impressed."
Romanowski, 44, was a member of the Denver Broncos who vanquished the Packers, 31-24, in Super Bowl XXXII in San Diego.
When he was asked if the 1997 season Super Bowl was the highlight of his playing career, Romanowski didn't say a word.
He just held up his hand with the Super Bowl ring on it.
