If the Bills the playoffs, are they the most overrated team of all-time?

They probably will get in prior to the showdown in Miami, but if they were to finish 8th with a loss, you'd have to think they are in the discussion

I mean they are currently 3rd favorite to win the Super Bowl, and they have not been great this year any way you slice it

Maybe it's a moot discussion, but it is a fair question IMO

Teams have lost or even won a SB and come back and had losing seasons many times.
Teams have had plenty of great years and not won a SB and come back with bad seasons.

If they are the third favorite to win the SB it's only because of the lack of excellence in the league this year. They are in a pile of mediocrity with a bunch of other teams including the one they are playing on Sunday. Nobody is gonna think it's a huge upset if they lose Sunday or if losing squeezes them out of the Playoffs.

I took the Dolphins as I view this as a coin flip game, and I tend to take the dog in that scenario

If Miami were favored, I would have taken the Bills

I think the margin of victory is going to be 3 or less either way if I had to guess

That said, it appears the NFL may be in the process of RIGGING it for Miami.

According to the Buffalo News, the Bills and the Dolphins will have the crew of Alex Kemp calling the game. They throw the second most flags of any crew in the NFL (behind only the crew of Land Clark), but the bigger news is which direction those flags are thrown. Kemp's crew averages 7.13 flags against the visiting team, the most of any crew. That's not what you want to hear when you're the visiting team.

So the Bills have to win beyond the margin of cheating. Not impossible, but another factor this team will be forced to overcome.
