I don't see very many Christians offing themselves and taking as many as they can with them. In fact, I don't see any. The Israeli's have been extremely patient IMO. With their military hardware and practical know-how they could easily wipe the floor with the Palestinians. If it was me I wouldn't even bother with the wall.
Love him or hate him, Bush has restored a good deal of clout to an American threat. Now countries that would normally be hostile might suddenly have a more obsequious tone.

I have met many Arabs throughout my journeys (Muslim and non-Muslim). Most have no balls of their own and are highly susceptible to brainwashing. It must be a cultural thing. Imagine being indoctrinated all your life and having no prospects of a decent future while spineless cowards in a position of authority order your compliance.

If you talk to them about Israel or the U.S., thier views are in sync with the clerics. That includes the violence and the belief that it is a just punishment from Allah. If they want a separate religion, that's one thing. If they want to convert or kill all infidels they need to be taken out.

Sure, you can go ahead and criticise Arab regimes and their populace all you want but to say that they have produced nothing is absolute trash. Arab countries might not have much to show for nowadays but thousands of years ago in the Mesopotania era, it was by far the most advanced civilization in the world at that time. It was followed by the Egyptians and Persians (not Arabs but close) who were equally great for their time. Those civilizations came up with things far more advanced than the 'Europeans'.
