Rams scoring, playing great defense. Clock is spinning like my electric meter. No Devante, no problem. Darnold looking very much like a Jekyll and Hyde. Great vs bottom dwellers, but vs top teams, ( esp in division), decidedly worse. Lose their guard, no sweat. Two long runs by Walker kept this from being a real blow out. This rams team, is loaded with young, i.e., cheap and less inclined to injury players.

Meaning of this rams win. Rest of yr, in warm weather, @ Atl, home vs Phx. + All playoff games at home.

I think Seattle picked up their defense just enough late in the game to finally get some stops…but c’mon now, you couldn’t watch that game and say that Seattle was the better team, no way…huge return TD and not 1, not 2, but 3 2pt conversions (one a total fluke)…not to mention Mevis missing a FG, that if good, likely is a game winner…I have to say though, that final drive was clutch by Darnold, I didn’t think that he had it in him!

It was in the the script. The players practiced the backward pass two point conversion the night before, 2am-4am, they crossed the border to Canada for privacy, backwoods high school field with the lights half on. Vegas ordered it.

I posted this 3 hours ago in Bozzies thread..

Upon reflection, I put the su LA loss, squarely on the 2nd day dad. (McVays wife gave birth Wed.)

Up 16 in the 4th, allowed only 7 to Sea's offense, 7 on punt return. McVay opted to go into the dreaded prevent def, and a prevent offense. The old joke seems apropos. Both prevent you from winning. Opting to shelve the defense that obviously bothered darnold, for a bend don't break joke.

On offense, trying to run, to eat as much clock as possible, I guess forgetting Sea was 4th in the nfl vs the run. This resulted in either 4, 3 and outs. Add a few pro-Sea calls by the ref, and the rams inability to stop 1 of three, 2 point tries, and you have a game of the year for NFL fans, and a real kick in the nuts for ram fans/bettors.

Its going to be "one of THOSE" weekends, Gardner twice chewed, and quinn p.u.-ers, offering their impressions of wk 16 qb-ing. This year is a cautionary tale.

Reminds me of Dennis Greens famous rant, after his team came close to beating the bearsa. "we had them, where we wanted, AND WE LET THEM OFF THE HOOK." Insert profanity to get the full essence of his comments. I get what McVay was trying to do. But it retrospect, he was wrong. And ended up shooting both his DEF and OFF in the foot.

You’re dead on . DEFINITELY not enough stafford like QBs in the league and it’s mind blowing what a team is willing to pay for a darnold type . Reminded me of last years rams Vikings wildcard game one and done. 100% entertainment league darnolds Ceiling will never get above 10,000 feet.
