if one were to do a special line bet on the Pats, which is the best value?

c'mon Pats, make it two great SB's in a row baby

my SuperBowl history has not been very good overall, losing more than I win, but when I win I almost always win a special line bet

2014: won Seahawks
2013: lost 49'ers
2012: lost Patriots (kind of a trend with them)
2011: lost Steelers (I think)
2010: lost Colts
2009: I have no recollection
2008: lost Patriots (was heartbroken)
2007: lost Bears (OK, I'm doing worse than I thought)
2006: lost Seattle (worst officiated game in american sports history)
2005: lost patriots
2004: lost patriots
2003: won TB
2002: won Pats ML (it was big, they were large dawgs)
2001: won Ravens -9.5 + big
2000: push
1999: lost Atlanta
1998: won Denver -3.5, that was another crazy line since they were big dawgs (the Pack let the Broncos score a TD late so they would have some time left, otherwise Den wins by 3)

I didn't realize until just now that I lost at least 9 of 10 SB's before last year, maybe 10 of 10 (and 4 of those losses were on the Pats, which of course, I did know)

but when I have won. I've won large + money bets

so I might as well bet a special line + money :)

As of this point for financial reason, I am rooting for the Pats. I still think they lose in a close one. I'll guess 23-20 Seattle.

Sorry for stepping on your thread willie. But this is drop dead funny.
By the way I like the Pats -9.5. In that kind of bet but I am playing Seattle +1.

2006: lost Seattle (worst officiated game in american sports history)

not to hijack this thread and go totally off topic - but yes, either Seattle vs Pitt or Kings vs Lakers (game 6) goes down as the worst officiated game in American sports history

Pats -6.5
