If Manny is traded, Will the curse of manram replace the bambino?

Just a curious thought. If Red Sox pull the trade of Manny Ramirez, will this be the second coming of the Babe Ruth trade where it takes another century to win a WS? Interesting thought since Babe was traded after WS win if I am correct. Would this mean the curse is back?
