As a fan, living in the area I hope they find a way to keep both. Defer some of Kobes money, or get Odum who's coming off a 60 million dollar contract to defer some money.
But for the sake of discussion here.........if they only are able to keep 1, who would you feel is more important, or harder to replace what he brings to the club.
When I first began considering the money issues for next year, my knee jerk reaction is Ariza. Game in, game out Ariza brings more consistently. Odom is streakier. Odom is a freaky 7 footer with a wingspan of someone 7'8.
Many people don't realize that 99% of the people your arms outstretched is exactly the same as your height. 6'5 or 77 inches tall........77 inches straight out (like the letter T.) Odom is 84 tall and 92 wide. Known before the 1400's and memorialized in Leonardos Vitruvian man
Historically the biggest freak was Chamberlain. He was 7'1 but a freak show 108 wide. Each arm was 10 inches longer than it should be, for someone 7'1.
