krod is having a 'good' year. but im not sure hes having a 'great' year. hes been far more dominant in some recent seasons. this year, hes been the beneficiary of pitching the back end of games for a team who, at least until recently, has been pathetic offensively. the national league has guys with more eye-popping numbers this year so perhaps krod could make a case for the cy young in the weak american. but guys like halladay are much more deserving even if he does pitch on a non-contender.

It would be a close call. I think he puts up the same caliber numbers again and again. You can't hold him out.
