If I were the GM for the ROCKIES

I would load up my pitching staff with sinker ball pitchers to combat the effects that COORS FIELD has on fly balls.

Tonight was a prime example of this...........DEREK LOWE, a supurb sinkerballer, threw 7 shutout innings in Coors Field.

Perhaps, but the problem for the Rockies is believe it or not the offense. With that park they need to lead the majors in runs by at least 100 over the next team. They don't.

If they load up for home, what will they do on the road?

It seems they will never win ..they did have some decent teams but the park and the atmoshere seem to make it hard too compete...

There use to be a stat about all the Denver teams enjoying a greater than average home field advantage...it does not seem to be the case for baseball...similar to the Texas heat in August at Arlington, the Mile High air seems to be a difficult place to play everyday.

Well, just get good hitters. I mean who is really above average in their lineup other then Helton? Johnson? Clayton? Burnitz? Castilla? Trust me, put people like AROD, Giles, Manny Ramirez, Rolen, etc. and they would score record breaking amounts. Bottom line, offense isn't good enough based on park effect. WHEN THEY REALIZE THIS THEN THEY'LL WIN SOME GAMES.
