Settle down, Newport. They had a couple bad breaks in the World Series, and two league MVP candidates had one bunt hit between them. Getting swept was a complete fluke. And they just won 5 in a row before last night.

St. Louis getting swept in the World Series was no fluke....

Pitching beats hitting, period....The Red Sox had the better pitching and stifled the Cards bats......

Can't go wrong with betting on their offense. Scary to think what this team will do once their bats get going. Missed out on leading the league in ERA by .01 last year. Had top staff in NL. Looks to be more the same this year. Bullpen has gone 16 or 17+ innings without giving up a run. Complete game shutout by Carp today makes the starter's ERA dip even lower. Carp on his way to 20 win season as I predicted earlier this year on the RX. Birds will surpass last season's win total!!!
