How would they do it?

Could they just simply charge BETONSPORTS,BODOG, PINNY etc.... a 20% tax like they do with the B&M casinos?

Its not like the Stardust or the MGM have to be the ones to offer wagering to the public.

I really don't think that is the direction that they're going....at least not until the bill gets shot down.

I really cannot imagine regulation anytime in the next 10 years at the very least....how would they after all this? Not anytime soon that's for sure.

I think most would still look elsewhere even if the govt did regulate it.

Could they simply tax any withdrawals made? Say a flat 5% for example? I dont' think that it would be that hard and if it would get regulated get your money in USA casino stocks as they would surely jump at this business opportunity.

They would just tax the businesses for the right to operate here - like any other corporation.

Additionally, items would be put into place to ensure bettors are adults...

If the Vegas books chased the wise guys away with their "raids" and going thru their safe deposit boxes, then bar cell phones, and any other means of communication....what makes you think they'll welcome them back now? If they didn't want their action in the first place, I just wonder why would they want it now if it's legalized?

I object to the above statement and where do yo get all these stereo types from? Exactly whom said we didn't want there action and try not to forget they were betting across state lines when you answer.

You have the Feds/GBC and the sportsbooks in the same bed and you are seriously wrong. We enforce law not make it. The wise chased themselves as I will prove in the fall. Of course they never went anywhere and only compromise a small portion of the betting society not the whole of it like you think STV.

If it does become regulated in the US the mega casinos will take over. I rather send my money online to MGMGrand or Bellagio then anything offshore.

Forget the Senate floor passing anything. It is ruined because this administration has thrown down the gauntlet and is going after anyone who defies them anywhere. Now that they have shown they will take people political hostage if need be and at the least continue to chracter assinate its a done deal. This image will follow for years to come. The next adminstration will not back down as hard as people think and will enforce this image so as not to look weak.

The Bushites have made sure this thing never gains public acceptance.

You would rather send your money to stardust with there lines than Pinnacle with there reduced juice?

I bet you Pinnacle is in at least in as good of financial shape as any casino in Las Vegas. And they are just as reputable. And the US goverment would see to it that you would not get stiffed. And they would also force these offshore books to open show them there financials.
