I wil give Barbaro a slight edge based on their head to head race last out but if you look a the BIG picture (their whole career) these horses are very close.

Will be interesting to see what happens with these 2 getting similar trips this time out.

The one thing I am torn about is I have rooted for years for a "super" horse. I would love to see Barbaro do something in the next few races that will take your breath away.

With that said I will make one of my biggest plays ever ($500) on a horse who I think is not going to get the respect at the windows. I think Barbaro should be 8-5 and Brothe Derek 5-2 and if 4-1 is out there i think that is WAY to much to pass up on in a 2 (maybe 3,sweetnorthernsaint) horse race.

Likes Brother Derek also, but just a little bit. Sure Barbaro will catch ALL the money but there will be support from those that refuse to have the chalk. Brother Derek will more than likely go off at 3-1 or just a tad less.

If Barbaro is less than 1-1 and I think he will be. I don't see how Brother Derek's odds could be less than 7-2. I don't see them taking up thatmuch of the pool. I also think the public wants to back a poetential triple crown winner a little more than he is worth
