that areef thread would have been locked and/or deleted a long time ago. You have never heard RPM or The General have such a hissy as when an advertiser sportsbook gets attacked.

It is obvious to me and it should be obvious to anyone who was watched this board that the actual amount of discussion that is ALLOWED in Offshore on an advertiser sportsbook is VERY limited.

We need threads like the BetCBS thread to remind the non advertisers that they can get bashed by a group of 50 or 100. At the same time, the advertiser books look at the thread and say "Holy Shiat..glad that is not us!!" (and an advertiser book will never get trashed on the front page)

Even these complete bs threads by jjgold are permitted, where he admits that "Joey I am trying to get the guy payed and pulling all all types of tactics, as soon as he is paid I will praise them and it will then prove they are not strapped for cash." The thread is entitled "CBS Might be the next book to go down." He admits that he started the thread in order to pressure the book into paying the guy. Give the book bad publicity until they pay a guy on a bad line.

If this were an advertiser sportsbook, none of this would be happening and I could back up that argument with links and examples of where Moderators jump on the advertiser book bandwagon.

Take this for small size: jj admits that he started his CBS thread for the sole purpose of pressuring them into paying. How can that be fair or accurate, Ken? It is debatable whether or not the guy should be paid ANYTHING. IMO, if you are looking out for the "industry," then you need to reconsider how you protect your advertiser book with kid gloves while you let people run ALL OVER a solid, though non advertiser book like CBS. You all know that Dave Johnson has been a solid and courteous contributer in this forum and phuck you are assholes for not giving him more respect that you have!

advertisers are treated the same here. the only difference is the betcbs threads are being allowed to stay until there is a final descision on the matter.

If BetCBS were an advertiser here then Dave Johnson would have to explain his side of the story to the Shrink rather than run off to Afghanistan or wherever the **** he is without internet access and just disappear until the stink blows away. A good system of checks and balances is necessary to make this work. We might not be perfect, but might be the best option.

Agree 100% with your thoughts. The threads started about books going out of business would never have lasted if they were advertisers. This place needs to change back to a forum not a bathroom wall.

We are all entitled to our views on the Areeff matter. And after it is settled one way or another, we can then decide to play there or not. But to start sh_t about books going out of business with no data is the height of irresponsibility. This topic has come up before and we were all "assured" this would not be allowed. The Mods need to do a better job in this regard as was promised in the past.

What we NEED is an independent arbitration panel where the books and players know they will get a fair shake when settling disputes, so these problems DON'T HAVE TO surface on these forums! The only reason that people come here to bash a book they have a dispute with is because THERE IS NO OTHER WAY currently to get justice.
