Positive: Lots of pitchers were on juice too, and the old timers on that list never got tested but who knows.

Negative: Cheated by taking illegal steroids and lied about it. No one knows how long he was on them either.

What do you guys think?

A better question might be about whether he will get in if he gets caught again. I think I'll start that poll tomorrow.

No failed drug test, he absolutely deserves to make the Hall-of-Fame, homerun record or not

Impossible to know if he will or not since the writers have done so much to prove themselves as absolute idiots

While he will certainly "have the numbers" for HOF induction...

Hall voters have made it very clear, if you're an admitted user, you ain't getting in.

Now "forever" is a long time, but I dont think he'll be a first ballot HOF'er or anything like that.

He is an admitted user. And I don't even want to get into how positively "ARod" his "apology" was..."I didn't know what I was taking. We didn't know what we were doing"...blah, blah, blah BS.

Hall voters have made it very clear that admitted users don't get in. At least not yet they don't. Now, you can argue about whether or not hall voters are a bunch of arrogrant pricks who really don't know what they're doing...but that's another argument.

IMHO, anyone who used steroids should not get in.

Arod admitted cheating, no go.

Why should Manny Ramirez not get in just because he failed a test, and then Arod get in, even though Arod admitted it?

Not a personal opinion but facts:

Bonds - Not getting in
Palmeiro - Not getting in
Clemens - Not getting in
Sosa - Not getting in
McGwire - Not getting in
Ramirez - Not getting in

But A Rod will get in? Not a chance.

30-40 years from now they will vote them in when MLB needs the PR and needs some excitement in Chicago , New York, and Boston. they will let them all in, sadly Pete Rose will be dead and gone. an old wrinkled up Smiling Sammy Sosa will make for great TV. guys like us can tell our grandkids all about the power suge of the 90's . these guys will be too big in their respective cities for many many years. it will not be healthy for baseball to blackball em forever and ever. just my opinion. maybe im wrong , we wont know for 40 yrs

None mentioned above have a chance I agree. But I think Arod will even if falls short of Bonds record. By the way I still feel the HR record is Maris 61! When a guy like Sosa hit over 60 HRs 3 times and never lead the league during those 3 years the steroid era HR records are a joke. I think Palmiero is the only player with over 500 HR's I think who never led the league in HR's.
