Well guys, this is a very sad day for IDENTITY. Unfortunately it is time for IDENTITY to say goodbye to the RX.
First, I want to say (before the bashing begins) that back during the presidential election, during the heat of the final days leading up and because of my great desire to have Kerry take over for dumbya, I bet the poster, GAMEFACE, that if Kerry lost, I would be banned from the RX. If dumbya lost, GAMEFACE would be banned. Needless to say, Kerry lost and I was banned. I remained banned for about a month during which time I tried to get the mods to contact GAMEFACE to let me back because I realized my bet was stupid and made under the duress of the election.
GAMEFACE was kind enough to let me back to the RX. However, I HONORED the bet and did not post after I lost that election.
Now to the most recent bet. A poster named, MAX1234, has been stalking IDENTITY for the past 5 years on various gambling forums. Once and for all, I tried to put an end to it. We bet that if I could win betting over 100 bets, MAX would be banned. If I could not win, IDENTITY would be banned. We first did this at a much smaller site than the RX where IDENTITY prevailed. MAX1234 was banned from said site and has remained banned. Because of the constant bashing, curse words, insults, etc., I wanted MAX1234 to be banned from the RX as well. I thought I could not lose the bet because I hit well over 54% of my plays and make money doing this. We entered into the same bet and it is documented in the Rubber Room. I was only allowed to bet football (I went 5-0 during the contest period which didn't count
and crushed several games on Saturday night which were posted but which also didn't count). I ended up 50-50 and down 29 units. Because I technically lost being down units, I lost the bet and I must now leave the RX FOREVER. IDENTITY is HONORABLE and will honor EACH and EVERY bet that is entered into.
With that said, I just wanted to post my thoughts about my time here at the RX.
First of all, the RX has been a GREAT place to post plays, share opinions, and enjoy entertainment. I want to advise everyone who has followed IDENTITY's plays over the past 6 years that if you still want my LOCK and LOAD plays or IDENTIFIERS, you can locate me by contacting WIL, the head moderator, and ask for my email address and he will give it to you. (BTW, we have an IDENTIFIER 1H GOY going tonight... )
Next, I wanted to give thanks to various people on the boards. I want to thank WIL, who is the BEST BAR NONE moderator in the business. He became a friend, has ALWAYS been objective and fair, and I appreciate him for that. I want to thank JOURNEYMAN, with whom I have had differences in the past, but who has been there by my side over the past year or so. I used to think Jman was a square, but it is clear as day and after spending time talking to him, that Jman is probably (next to OMT) the SHARPEST poster at this site. You guys are lucky to have him and should heed his advice when he gives it. I next want to thank posters like lawrence, quantum leap, holysmoke, wahoo, and ALL OF THE OTHERS who have been by my side and have enjoyed my posts and picks. THIS IS NOT THE END. JUST A NEW BEGINNING. You guys have made posting here very enjoyable and I will miss it.
Next I would like to comment on the bashers here, and particularly, IDENTITY's stalkers. You know who you are. You have NEVER come into my threads when I have had MONSTER days. You have NEVER ONCE offered congratulations on my winning plays. You have only come into my threads to bash me, insult me, use very dirty and nasty language, and in short, act without any class. The posters here can see that, and your conduct only demonstrates your lack of class and dignity. That you wish others to lose is downright pathetic and embarassing. In addition, your nagging about my failure to keep my record is absurd given that it is not required to post records here. I have NEVER sold my picks. I have NEVER gone tout. I have NEVER collected emails for TOUT purposes. I have simply provided winners FOR FREE for many, many years. I have only complimented others on wins. I have tried to be as positive as possible. For you bashers, MAX1234 has accomplished your goals and therefore we will part ways forever. I will be posting at a new forum and I ask that you not follow me there and continue your classless bashing.
Next, I would like to offer comments to the RX directly. I think this place would be better served if you not permit KNOWN STIFFS to post here. It only puts posters in jeopardy of getting STIFFED. The RX has no idea how these scammers operate and they are successful in getting posters to give them money/offer bets and then reneg with the help of being able to post here at the RX. I think this should stop for the safety and protection of the innocent players (and in particular, the NEWBIES). I also think the RX should NOT accept an advertiser if it is a known SLOW PAYER or STIFF book. If it has stiffed in the past, but has new management, I think it is the same company and still a stiff operation. Finally, I think the RX is presently the #1 GAMBLING FORUM IN THE WORLD. Your contests (although I never participated) are the best in the business. You have more posters than anyone in the world. You definitely will be at the top for a long, long time.
