80 percent approval rate in indiana, a red state as 2 time governor 1988, relected 1992. all the polls indicate a photo finish vote in that state. i think bayh would turn it blue.

younger image, more moderate to contrast from obama.

if not him, maybe gore, that'd be interesting. not sure if i want to see edwards again.

Bayh has been my prediction for awhile. That's what I think as well. Would be a very solid choice. Hits all the important points. Would be a good fit.

His stock has been steadily rising at intrade too, around 10/11 right now, which I think is way too low. Pretty much only behind Hillary, who I don't think will be chosen.

Bayh would be a safe choice, but remember Evan Bayh is no Birch Bayh not by a long shot.
