If you want to see Mia@KC tomorrow you can do it for $5.99 + tax. You can sign up for peacock, and cancel after a month. I doubt I'd have done it, but for it being "the coldest game in NFL history." And I think Mia gets whacked, and bet accordingly. Mia is 0 for 10 in last games under 40 degrees. With a net -166 points. This will be 70 degrees colder, with wind chill -30 degrees. Mia has awful cluster injuries on defense. KC has not played well, but Mia has too much of a hill to climb.

The Temperature At Gametime Without The Windchill Is Supposed To Be -4 And By The End Of The Game -8 Ouch.

Uscmd I’m pretty sure you are a fins fan. Me too. I understand your pessimism, especially with our injuries, but we have the running game to make this game interesting. KC offense sucks. If our backup D can play the game of their lives, I actually think we have a shot. Offense is fairly healthy right now…I know I’m talking out of my ass but I just think this KC has enough weaknesses to let us stay in this thing.

Watch out for an electrical failure. No lights at night (8:10PM eastern) means next day play in day time...
It is a night game with
Winds and Temps with wind chill at -30 below below zero, could blow out power.

C ash, solid points. I live in Calif and I'm a rams fan. My exposure to Miami, has been flying in to leave on Caribbean cruises and thinking my god, how can people tolerate the heat/humidity. Now imagine trying to accommodate a 100 degree change. Where bare skin can get frostbite in 15 minutes.

Nope not the same roster. But over the years, there have been similar stats for warm weather teams trying to play in near zero temps.

4.5 is an awful number. So this is a small wager, on a beleaguered champ, to pull it together on a big stage. And to give me a rooting interest in the game. Cold weather, saps your energy, add Mia's cluster of defensive injuries and a pass became a small play.

Gman, right you are. I think watching the "coldest NFL game ever" ought to be interesting. Some of the players will be wearing wet suits. Imagine sweating in a wet suit, in 30 below temps.

You beat me to it. Not just the field but when your body feels frozen it's really hard to grab someone and bring them down.

Handicapping is about looking at both teams objectively and everybody seems to be handicapping this game as if the Chiefs offense is like it's been since 2018. The explosive offense the Chiefs had under OC Eric Bienemy, which helped them play in the last five AFC championship games, has disappeared under current coordinator Matt Nagy. If the Dolphins are in the lead heading into the 4th quarter can this current Chiefs teams offense, which led the league in dropped passes, be counted on to put together a drive and pull out a come from behind victory?

That doesn't apply or prove true any longer and that's been shown the last couple seasons. GL to you this week.

Miami had a huge advantage with the heat and humidity on their home field for several games this year. Electrolyte imbalance, the opposition does not all fall on the ground w cramps, but mostly lose a half step or full step late in the game.

NOW they will suffer on the frozen turf, the KC players are mostly used to it, how to cut, how to stay balanced, but Miami (other than Hill) will struggle with that and catching the ball and carrying the ball. I said 27-10 KC and am sticking with it, KC will be fired up for the first time in awhile. Tua will fire the ball with his quick release--not a good approach-- and Mahommes knows how to place the ball in the cold. Kelce will be the main target especially with the Miami D injuries. KC will be able to run the ball, too, against the decimated Miami D.

I think the KC field is heated. Still doesn’t change the weather though

Serbone says - "KC will be fired up for the first time in awhile."

What does fired up mean exactly, how do you quantify it and what are the results of "fired up" teams in the playoffs?

More evidence you are mostly a nonsence poster.
KC coasted a lot mid-late this season, knew they had the playoffs made long ago, were not fired up for a lot of games. It happens to many teams with good winning records in the last 4-5 games of the seasons every year. With all your vast overwhelming expert experience, did you not notice?
Tonight KC will go all out for the first time in awhile.

So all those dropped passes were done on purpose? That was part of the coasting process?
