Well, here I go in my attempt to have a profitable season, while posting all my selections & plays...
Starting Bankroll: $10,000.00
1/1/2008
Aqueduct Race 1:
Bet = Cost of Bet : Total Of Bets for Race
$1 DD 4/All = $9.00 : $9.00
$1 DD 4/1,2,6,9 = $4.00 : $13.00
$1 DD 4/1,2,9 = $3.00 : $16.00
$1 DD 4/2,9 = $2.00 : $18.00
$2 DD 4/2 = $2.00 : $20.00
$1 DD All/2,9 = $12.00 : $32.00
$1 DD 2,4,6/1,2,6,9 = $12.00 : $44.00
$1 DD 2,4,6/2,6,9 = $9.00 : $53.00
$1 DD 2,4,6/2,9 = $6.00 : $59.00
$6 W 4 = $4.00 : $65.00
Some reasoning behind my plays:
In race 1 I like #4, based on the fact that horses coming off maiden wins going into winners are often overlooked because its not a profitable angle... for most of the season, however from about the end of Nov. til March, these fields are full of unsharp horses just racing for checks, while the recent maiden winner has shown they are currently sharp, so I am going to key on #4 in the 1st.
Race 2, the favorite is likely to be odds on and is very suspect to me, claimed for 75K dropping to 50K, low % rider, no value there for me so I am looking at 2 others for value. #2 was the favorite last time dropping and stretching out, now cuts back, has shown speed, gets an improved rider for a trainer who does well with those angles and #9 a total unknow, but has a good rider/trainer combo, goes MSW to MCL so Im treating him as a FTS, at good odds.
