I Wonder How Baron Davis Feels Right Now....

Guy was finally starting to get the praise he has long deserved, as he was leading the most exciting team in the NBA, the Warriors. He leaves, thinking he is going home to play with his good buddy Elton Brand. Brand decides he would rather play on the East Coast. Now Baron Davis is by himself playing for the wrong LA team. Team is 0-6 and looking like it will not get better any time soon. B Diddy is once again going to be a player people forget about it. Sucks for him.

Clippers is the most retarded team in whole NBA ... too bad for Baron , really one of my fav players . Just like today ... they are down by 5 points and instead of fouling they just let Houston run the clock with like 1 min left , obvious they werent interested in winning just like in all of their previous games .

I think he's laughing all the way to the bank.... Clippers are usually out of it by the 4th q and he gets to rest up.

This Clippers team is really really bad. They have basically no players that can create their own shots. For an NBA team that is pitiful. Other than BD who do you have that can create for themselves? Al Thorton, a little bit. Tim Thomas has been an enigma his whole career, and got hurt last night. Eric Gordon is a rookie, and don't get the PT. Kaman is good on the blocks.
It showed last night against an outstanding defensive team. Houston basically just shut them down in the 4th quarter. There were several opportunities where if the Clipps could have got a basket they could have got right back in the game. However it didn't happen. Artest took Thorton completely out of the game, Kaman couldn't get anything consistent going over Yao, and BD couldn't do it himself. Going to be a long long year for the other LA team. I already regret making a season win total over play on them

Depends wholly on whether Davis considers winning a ring to be important.

Staying in Oakland, he was assured to never see past the first round of playoffs.

I think that playoff run 2 years ago was the best punch Baron threw during his career. I think he just wants to be near his family and collect that paycheck unfortunately. He'll get injured eventually and just enjoy the money while his team goes 0-82.

Like that last time they made the playoffs and got bounced by the Mavs...oh wait.

At least he could have sniffed the playoffs in GS, he isn't going anywhere close on the Clippers.

State getting into second round as the eighth seed was an NBA first and if one is banking their future on it happening again they're really not too serious about wanting to win a ring.

And it was only a last day of season loss by guess who - the Clippers, that allowed GState to even get in.

Meanwhile, the year before (just three years back now) Clippers went to Game 7 in the second round.

They have the base for a low seed playoff contender because they enter the arena with full intent to play defense. How long it takes for their offense to take hold and begin to outscore opponents remains to be seen

I can't say how he feels, only he can, but I'm sure right now he doesn't really care and is not regretting taking the big money. Like many have said before, fans care about a teams success more than the players do for the most part.

Anyways, imo he has a better chance at sniffing a title in LA than he did in GS. Neither have a shot this year and neither will make the playoffs imo, but LA has the money and the young guys to be contenders in the near future.
