Ok, it was just a Sweet Sixteen brackets game, and I only came in second. But the entry was free, and I won $500. I'll take it.
This was one of the contests, either free or small ante, run by betCBS throughout the year. Someone asked a while ago about this book - I've had an account with them for a few years but didn't reply since I don't tout books, and the anwers that come in were on the mark. But since I'm half a grand richer I'll make the exception.
Yes, their lines are usually clonish - but they pay fast, never a prob, they have solid bonuses for $500 and under (100% for $50, 20% to $500), and some great "loyalty" bonuses, like a free half point (except on or off 3 in foots), or reduced vig, or 5% back weekly on net win or loss, or 20% back yearly on net loss. It's not the only place I play, but it is a keeper.
That's my booktout rant for the century. Oh yeah, anyone in the brackets contest could see the picks - past and future - of anyone else, so you know it was run straight.
